Construction
- Our panel frames are constructed of high quality, 5-7 layer cabinet grade plywood – cut to size. The joints are glued, nailed and stapled for maximum structural integrity. Larger panels include support braces when necessary.
- Every panel has an air gap behind the insulation. For example, a 1.5 inch panel will have 1 inch of insulation, and a 1/2 inch gap. Why?
- Customers may choose either fiberglass, mineral wool, or poly board (eco friendly) absorption materials.
- Our panels are hand wrapped with acoustic grade fabric and are finished off with a polypropylene backing material that helps contain the insulation and creates a quality finished product. Our fabrics meet the TB117-2013 standard of flammability ratings.
Standard Color Options
Please note that colors may appear slightly different on screen and in person. In addition, the fabrics are dyed in individual batches and some shade variation can occur. If you would like a sample, please let us know, and we’ll be happy to send.
Noise Reduction Coefficients
0.00 = no absorption, 0.50 = 50% absorption, 1.00 = 100% absorption. Measurements are done according to a standard test method such as ASTM C423 or ISO. In some cases, the measured sound absorption coefficient is greater than 1.00. As recommended by the test method, these values are reported as measured and not adjusted. Differences in coefficients of less than 0.15 are not significant.
Our Noise Reduction Coefficient Information Can be Viewed on Desktops, Tablets or Laptops.
